NEREUS HOTEL, Paphos – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and offered comfortable beds, but cleanliness was lacking initially. The location was convenient with easy access to various amenities and activities. The service, while generally friendly, seemed inconsistent at times. The dining options were decent but lacked authentic local dishes. Overall, it was a reasonable stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel is situated at the top end of the bar street, only 10 minutes from the harbor. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with great beds, but the pool is small. The amazing service, especially from 'Big' Mike, Mihalis, Athina, Martin, Stefan, Otis, and George at the bar, brings the overall hotel rating up by 2 points. The location is brilliant, close to pubs with live music and two roof sun terraces. The dining experience, while good, is generally aimed at British cuisine. The hotel caters for English tastes, though the local staff seemed less cheerful than expected. The facilities include car hire, housekeeping, laundry, welcome drink, and happy hour.

The hotel offers spacious and well-equipped rooms, but the bathrooms are basic and a bit dated. The excellent water pressure and cleanliness made up for it. The service was outstanding, with helpful staff who made mealtimes entertaining. The location is superb, close to the beach, promenade, and a variety of dining options. The dining experience provided a nice selection of dishes, though some international choices overshadowed Greek cuisine. The hotel's facilities are satisfactory, with areas like car hire and laundry services available.
